We are still alive!

Its nice to be reminded of our ongoing addiction to life and we just thought we'd say hi over here as things are progressing again. After well over a year without any posts or regular activity it feels very nice indeed.

However, there is still little in the way of new completed tracks.

But!

There is a light!

If you check out the maxdembo page on dmusic you will find a new demo version of bonnie meets clyde with plenty of 'the new sound' and an almost finished vibe.

Enjoy.

New version of bored.of.chameleons is up at dmusic. Its starting to work at last, the intro is pretty sorted, the main kick in (thx gary :)) is fitting better and the chopping up is coming along nicely. Shame it totally falls apart half way thru. A lot of work needs to be done but hopefully you can get some sense of where its going.

What is it now?
Technically these are co-written by the d to the m to the bo! (and as such appear on his site) but just like a midiham covered in smtp gravy theyve repeated themselves here. Max was on hand making the tea whilst the chimp and his predecessors did all the graft.

Eating can be damn hard work.

We'd like to welcome to the archive 'the ear of dr yes'. Altho now a defunct project, some 20+ tracks still remain floating around the inter, outer, either, other and innernet from the days of ape unknown. There are 14 tracks up there right now, maybe 8 more to be added. Be forewarned, this is all old material, some nuggets of gold but mostly just old, worn, battered and bruised.

Neglected from birth and destined to failure.

We welcome...

Normality hit hard. Like a fucking tidal wave of beige, like a malformed nugget of nothing. This testament to normality, a call to the drones.

Remix of Roots Manuva (isnt it terrible that we cant remember the name of the track right now :)). Voted by us as most likely to be deleted now were out of space. The vocal track has been left pretty much untouched and a completely new track built around it. We got bored with it, now its your turn.

In a similar vein to thicker.skin, this track started sometime ago as a remix of beck's mixed business (elements of the original still remain) but grew into something more overlong, unkempt and sprawling. Some may say epic, tho we'd wonder how drunk they are.

Currently I'm in the process of getting a small netlabel together. Although the starting point is just seeing if I can get an album finished and out there off my own back, as an experiment with no responsiblities to anyone except myself, who knows where it may lead. A website is being built behind the scenes (dogwax.net is live but with no idea of design) and could take a while to complete so in the meantime I'll be using this place, maxdembo.dmusic.com (10 or so tracks there atm) and a few other sites to spread around some completed ditties, some works in progress and also to log the whole process a little.

Ever wondered what the bible smells like in its entirety? Ever wondered how cows make it to the moon? Do you know where your cast is piled? Have you seen the back end of a harmwelt? All these questions and more are irrelevant. There is only New Eesla.

Look, we had to choose something, ok? Time was running out, the project needed a name for the paperwork, we couldnt think of anything better. Seriously. Its been a huge problem but were here now and no doubt itll change soon enough. In the meantime can we please just make the best of a bad situation and not mention it again...
